We hope you're having a great holiday season! Things have been insanely busy this month trying to get everything done before Christmas next week... is it us, or has this month felt a lot shorter than usual?
Quartermaster has sent out the Address Verification Emails to all domestic/North American backers this morning which is your very last chance to update your address if necessary since they'll start shipping next week!
As much as everyone wanted to get these books in your hands by Christmas, the sheer amount of competing traffic and congestion (from some much bigger players) has gotten in the way. Yay, Capitalism. Boo, holiday competition. Hopefully, some of you might actually receive your stuff by the 25th, but if not, just think of it as a late gift from your workaholic Uncle Mike extending your cheer by a couple of days... 😉🎅

We hope you're all having a wonderful holiday season and settling into the cozy vibes of December! With Christmas and New Year's just around the corner, we're thrilled to wrap up this wild year together! 😊 So much has happened in 2024, and between the highs (and lows), we can't deny how grateful we are for all of your support -- you are the reason we do this!
The fulfillment warehouse is well-prepared and remains optimistic about dispatching all domestic shipments before the Christmas break. (International order inventory will be well on its way to the regional forwarding hubs by then, too.) While we aim to have everything sent out by this date, please note that delivery times may vary depending on your local carriers. If some shipments arrive after Christmas, consider that our way of extending your holiday enjoyment a little longer. 😉 Thank you for your understanding and support during this busy season!

We hope you had a great week and are looking forward to a relaxing weekend. We wanted to let everyone know that we will be locking addresses this weekend! You may have received an email from Backerkit earlier today asking you to confirm your address -- if you need to change anything, now is the time to do it!
We need to start prepping the warehouse with final order information soon. We are hoping to have everything ready to ship in a few weeks, with the goal of having all packages (or all Domestic North American packages at least) shipped before Christmas. (International orders will take a little more time to travel... we'd like to be upfront that your packages will not likely beat the holiday, but they should hopefully arrive soon thereafter!)
If you didn't get the email and want to double-check what address we have, you can log into https://classic-horror-illustrated-by-georges-bess.backerkit.com/. You should still be able to revise your shipping address until Sunday. Whew - October has been a busy month! Traveling to conventions, getting a bunch of books finished and printed, receiving finished printed books and getting them routed to the fulfillment center... it's exhausting! But well worth it, especially considering how PERFECT these books are for the Halloween season... And we're happy to let you know that
We distributed the digital files!
You may have already received an email notification from Backerkit, but if not, check your inboxes or check your Backerkit page directly. You will find all links and instructions on your personal Backerkit page (which you can access below or at https://classic-horror-illustrated-by-georges-bess.backerkit.com/),
Once logged in, you should see a big blue button in the middle of the page that says "Get Your Digital Downloads" -- click on that to see your personal links for each item ordered. Granted, you will only see that button if you have finished your Backerkit survey, but if you haven't, that link will walk you through the process.
The books are hosted by Gumroad -- you will have to follow the (simple) instructions to use your unique codes to download your files from Gumroad for free. 😊

The books have almost reached the warehouse and the other stretch goal items should be arriving soon. We suspect we'll be able to start shipping in December, but we'll let you know as soon as everything has arrived.

Locking HUNCHBACK orders this weekend!

Hi everyone!
You may have already received an email to this effect, but we have started locking orders on Backerkit. You should receive an email notification asking you to confirm your survey is complete and that your information is accurate this weekend.
If you have already completed your survey, you have 48 hours to make any final adjustments to your pledge. When that 48 hours is up, Backerkit will lock your orders so that no more changes can be made (other than address changes -- we will lock those separately closer to shipping). Payments for any balances due (such as shipping) will be charged on Monday.
If you need help getting into Backerkit, send us a message here on Kickstarter or at [email protected] and we'll get you sorted. Remember: if you are registered using a privaterelay.appleid.com email address, you will have to contact us with an alternative email address to use!
The books are expected to reach our warehouse in November, and our aim is to have everything shipped out before Thanksgiving. That's the goal, at least. We'll have to coordinate that with the shipping warehouses, but we'll have everything to them as efficiently as possible.
We also want to thank everyone for your wonderful understanding about the missing letter on the slipcase. How that happened is confounding, and we appreciate how kindly you have reacted to the situation. Other than that inexplicable typo, everything else looks AWESOME, and the books are gorgeous. We want to get everything in your hands as soon as possible!
